General Delivery Terms
All orders received by Love In Vain Vintage Clothing on the loveinvain.co.uk website will be shipped within 1 business day of receipt of the order. Although our website is open for business 24 hours per day most of our stock is held in our physical store which is open from Tuesday to Saturday. Therefore all orders placed on Sunday or Monday will not be posted until the Tuesday after the order is placed.
For your security all shipments from Love In Vain Vintage Clothing are dispatched using tracked delivery methods. Once the item is dispatched we will notify you of the tracking code by email to the email address you informed us of at the time of delivery.
Love in Vain operates a flat rate delivery policy for all orders delivered to the UK mainland:
- Delivery will be charged at a flat rate of £4.00 for all orders with a value of less than £75.
- Delivery is free on all orders with a value of £75 or more.
- All shipments will be sent be sent by Royal Mail 2nd Class Signed For delivery.
Currently Love In Vain Vintage Clothing only offers predefined delivery costs for delivery to the mainland UK. Although we welcome orders from outside the UK we cannot currently preset what those costs will be.
- All deliveries to countries outside of the UK will be charged at cost plus 10% to cover packaging and handling costs.
- All deliveries to countries outside of the UK will be sent by Royal Mail international signed for delivery.
If you wish to place an order for delivery outside of the UK please contact us using the contact form on this website telling us what item you wish to order and which country the item will be dispatched to and we will calculate an accurate delivery charge.
Failure to receive an item as a result of non-collection
If you fail to collect or arrange collection of an item when notified by the Royal Mail that they were unable to deliver to you, it will usually result in the item being returned to us as non-deliverable after approximately ten days of non-contact from you.
If this happens, we will notify you by email that the item has been returned to us and to ask you how you wish to proceed.
In these circumstances we will either:
- resend the item to you by tracked delivery (you will be responsible for any additional cost incurred by us to re-send the item to you)
- refund to you the original purchase less the original cost of delivery.
