Product Description
Vintage 1970’s Green Evening Dress by Morton Myles for The Warrens
This Gorgeous late 1960’s/early 1970’s vintage evening dress is by noted New York fashion designer Morton Myles (who became famous in the 1960’s when his dresess were worn by Jackie Kennedy).
The dress is in an aqua (green/blue) two-tone design with a pleated effect to the material. It has three quarter length sleeves with slightly elasticated hems. The shoulders are lightly padded and the dress has a concealed zip to the rear with hook and eye fastening at the neckline. The dress has a full lining in grey material. The material has a stretch with approximately 2 inches of ‘give’ in the stated measurements for chest.
There is no material label in the dress but we believe that the matt coloured material is most likely to be synthetic and the shiny material could be silk or a very high quality synthetic silk.
The label says that is a US size 8 but see below for full measurements. Garment care is professional dry clean only.
Material: Believed to be patially synthetic with either silk or a very high quality synthetic silk.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. The outer material is in undamaged and in excellent condition. The lining is intact but there is some very slight loss of stitching at the base of the edge seam (approximately 2 inches) that is easily repaired.
